Showing a simulated plumbing dispatch outcome

An impressive-looking dispatch card can mislead a visitor if it appears to prove that a real technician has accepted or received the demonstration request.

01

The decision to make first

An impressive-looking dispatch card can mislead a visitor if it appears to prove that a real technician has accepted or received the demonstration request. Label every displayed outcome as simulated and distinguish captured details, attempted routing and hypothetical acceptance states.

02

What the handoff should contain

Use fictional job details, a sample route, the demonstration timestamp and a visible statement that no real service action occurred.

03

Suggested wording to approve

Example wording: “This sample shows the information a dispatcher would review. It is a simulated outcome, and no technician has been contacted or assigned.”

04

Test the difficult case

Ask a test visitor what action they believe actually happened after the demo, and correct the interface if they think a visit was arranged. Do not display a real staff member’s contact details or an invented success notification that looks like a production acceptance.

05

Worked example

Fictional example: The demo displays “on-call route attempted” and a sample request card. It must not also show a green “technician assigned” badge unless the label unmistakably describes a fictional state. Ask a reviewer what actually happened; the correct answer is that the workflow was illustrated and no real worker received a dispatch.

06

Review it in operation

Review whether the sample helps buyers judge the handoff fields without confusing demonstration quality with proven production dispatch performance.
