The decision to make first
A dynamic demo may find public information about a business that is incomplete, outdated or belongs to another company with a similar name. Show the discovered facts and source links for review before using them as the business-specific demonstration context.
What the handoff should contain
Separate submitted business details, publicly found facts, uncertain matches and the visitor’s approved corrections in the temporary demo profile.
Suggested wording to approve
Example wording: “I found this public business information for the demonstration. Please confirm the business and correct any detail before Ava uses it in the sample conversation.”
Test the difficult case
Test two similarly named companies, a closed old website and a business whose public hours disagree across sources. Do not silently treat a search result, directory snippet or inferred service area as an authoritative instruction from the business owner.
Worked example
Fictional example: Two companies share a similar trading name, and the research finds one website with an old phone number. The visitor should see the possible match and source before starting. A correction changes the temporary demo profile; it should not silently update a production business account or certify ownership of the selected company.
Review it in operation
Review which facts visitors corrected and improve source selection while keeping uncertain information visibly unresolved.
